Let me start off with saying that I’ve always been absolutely in love with anything Kate Hudson has done as an actress. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is still my spirit animal of a movie.

 

Her most recent venture, Fabletics has really resonated with me on a number of levels. First, it has absolutely skyrocketed to the top of the industry in just a few short years – bringing in $250 million after just being founded a mere 3 years ago. That kind of innovation for a startup is huge, we’re talking Uber huge. Many celebrities put their name on a product, but this line of active wear truly shows that she is incredibly hands on. Her high energy and spirit are in every fiber of Fabletics gear.

 

Kate was actually just recently profiled in an article by CNBC in which she shared with readers some of the reasons her brand has seen such massive success. True to her style as an entrepreneur, she recommended always staying hands on with her brand. Even with the huge success of her company, she is still involved in the day-today. She also recommended believing in yourself and taking risks and to ensure you stay inspired. One of my favorite tips was to look for unique marketing opportunities and to utilize big data. These two points seem crucial to the success the company has had.

 

When Fabletics launched, there was a gaping hole in the marketplace for trendy athletic apparel that was well-built without being overly prices. Few people can justify paying $200 for a pair of black leggings and even fewer would commit to a brand selling leggings for $20 that stretched out or lost their shape after two washes.

 

Fabletics completely changed that mindset by offering wonderfully fun and stylish athletic apparel on a monthly subscription basis. Their clothes are incredibly well made and not overly costly.

 

The brand also utilizes a reverse showroom technique. I wasn’t exactly sure what this was, but an article in Forbes outlined it and it was immediately clear that their technique was one of the reasons I am so loyal to Fabletics. Instead of having to drag myself to a store where I receive the same in-store experience of thousands of others, Fabletics has made their digital “showroom” a fun and exciting space for me to feel like I’m truly part of the brand and not just one in a batch of thousands.

Hudson relies on her team, and she realizes that her company can only be as strong as the team is together. Hudson believes that she has had highs and lows when it comes to being an entrepreneur. When Fabletics was first started, she crossed her fingers and hoped for the best. Now she is the president of a multibillion dollar company.

Even though being an owner of clothing line and a celebrity at the same time can be stressful, Hudson has found a way to put things in perspective and maintain balance. Meet Doe Deere, a famous doll maker and star of Instagram! She has just made the news once again! Apparently, this time it is not for the better…..

In her recent Insta-Doll Scandal explanatory article, it appears that both Ms. Doe Deere and Joshua David McKenney tell their story. You may find photos of both of them throughout this wonderfully creative and inspiring article. You may also find them holding dolls in their photos, look-alike work of their representation.

Mr. McKenney and Ms. Doe are both blue-haired, and have many unique similarities to one another….thus prompting them to work together and even be seen together promoting the same work!

A bit more background on Doe? Who is this amazingly inspiring, awe striking, and recognized, relatable person? She is none other than….the one and only…Doe Deere!

Doe Deere is founder and Corporate Executive Officer (or CEO) of a company known as “Lime Crime Makeup”. Of course, she works with beauty and makeup. The name is implied in the lifestyle with which she is so heavily involved.

Doe Deere’s Instagram account has over three hundred thousand followers to it. In it, she is seen posing along her custom made life representation model dolls….which appear to have caught the eye of the late Prince. Her Lime Crime colors match in the photos to her personal appearance, as is noted in the article.

It appears that Joshua David McKinney is her doll making friend, and this Instagram photo in particular was apparently shot to give him recognition and exposure. He is seen posing along side Ms. Deere in the photo. There is no doubt that both McKinney and Deere have a lot in common in terms of fashion and tastes, creative gifts and intuition, and even matching hair color!

These two creative geniuses appear to make a great team, and an unstoppable one….to say but the very least! It always seems that when any two people anywhere—who are both filled with a passion for the extra ordinary—come together and do something wonderful, it is bound to be nothing short of a success.

How JustFab Melted My Cold Fashion-Savvy Heart this Summer

It is not as easy as it sounds, but I have been getting more knowledgeable about materials. One thing I have learned is the type of material you use really does make a huge difference when it comes to touchable and breathable clothing. I also find out that good materials, like fine cotton or stretchy synthetic materials, were expensive. So I figured only high-ticketed items could use these materials. Apparently, I was wrong in assuming that because I find out about JustFab.

JustFab is a subscription-based company that allows subscribers to buy clothes at discounted prices. This is mostly due to the subscription service and the fact that they operate online. Not having a physical store allows them to keep their prices reasonable. But I still had my doubts, even though I read a few positive reviews from people I trust. I waited as long as I could before I visited JustFab to see what all the buzz was about. Thankfully, I was suckered into it, because I got there right on time to still catch their summer collection and trust me, it is something beautiful to look at.

The designers at JustFab know the kinds of styles that are trending right now. I have been keeping up, as I always do, and knew that many of the new styles were flowy and free, which is what you get from JustFab’s collection. There is also that wonderful look when a blouse hangs right off your shoulders, highlighting them just right. I was especially impressed with the Crochet Bell Sleeve Blouse. Sure, the model I saw wearing it did not wear it off shoulder, but I felt like it would work better that way. So I tilted the shirt ever so slightly to let it fall off my right shoulder, and it worked beautifully.

The business world often has an image. And it tends to be one filled with older men.
